Louise Story

Louise Cecile Monarque Story, 77, of Diamond Bar passed away on October 10, 2023. 

Louise was born in Montreal, Canada on November 13, 1945 to Jeannine and Jacques Monarque. She graduated from Los Altos High School in 1964. Louise married Ronald C. Story on May 8, 1965 in West Covina. They made their home in Diamond Bar where they had 2 sons, Glenn Story and Ronald Story Jr. They were married for 21 wonderful years until his passing in 1986. 

For over 25 years Louise worked in the classroom as an instructional aide in the Pomona Unified School District.  Louise loved to travel the world and visited many states, countries and landmarks.  Louise’s pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, taking them to the theater was one of her favorite things to do. 

Louise is survived by her brother Norman Monarque, son Glenn (Francine) Story, son Ron (Stacey) Story; grandchildren Wyllo (Ray), Naythan, Jonathan (Mary-Rose), & Brooke; great-grandchildren Sadie & Andres; sister-in-law Jean Monarque. As well as nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Story; her parents Jeannine and Jacques Monarque; brother Gil Monarque, and brother Richard Monarque. 

A memorial service will be held at 12pm on November 10, 2023 at the Memory Chapel, Forest Lawn, 21300 Via Verde Dr., Covina.
