Lorna P. Roberson

Lorna P. Roberson, 91, born on January 19, 1923, in Seattle, Washington, passed away June 11, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Marvin and her sisters Lorraine and Patricia. Formerly of Long Beach, she resided in Canoga Park, California with family at the time of her passing.

Lorna grew up on Vashon Island near Seattle Washington and attended Vashon High School where she and her identical twin sister were cheerleaders. During the war she worked in Seattle until she met and married Lt. Marvin T. Roberson. Lorna moved to Long Beach with her twin sister in 1945 to be closer to her husband's war time station. Lorna traveled extensively with her husband, driving across the country many times to visit family in North Carolina and Washington and saw much of the country first hand. Lorna was active in the Daughters of the American Revolution and Rebekahs.

She is survived by her three sons, Greg (Jean), Ted (Tammie) and David and four grandchildren, Justin, Trevor, Scott and Marissa.
