Lorna Pangilinan

Our beloved mother, Lorna Pangilinan, born in Lubang, Philippines, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026 after an eight month battle with pancreatic cancer. Throughout her journey with cancer, she showed strength, resilience and reflected deeply about life and the people she loved.

She was a devoted Nana, mother, wife, Ate, Tita, and friend. Known for her kindness and generosity, she touched the lives of everyone who knew her and was always ready to lend a helping hand. She courageously immigrated to the United States in adulthood and worked hard, alongside her husband, to build a meaningful life for her family. She found her greatest joy in being with her grandchildren and seeing her children build fulfilling lives of their own. She enjoyed gardening, traveling the world, challenging her mind through games and mahjong, and spending time with her siblings and cousins.

She is survived by her husband - Manolito Pangilinan, her children - Carla Perez (38), Marianne Perez (37), and Eileen Goodwin (34), and her grandchildren - Leanne Barnes (14) and Annalise Perez (4).

Her legacy of love and strength will forever be a guiding light to those who love her.

All are welcome to join our family in honoring Lorna's life and lifting her up on her journey to join her mother - Inay, her father - Tatay, and her brother - Ronald, in heaven. Services will be held at Forest Lawn in Covina Hills - 21300 Via Verde Street, Covina, California 91724.

VIEWING: Family and friends are welcome to gather and pay respects before the funeral service on Sunday, March 8th, anytime between the hours of 11am to 9pm in Magnolia Room. 

FUNERAL SERVICE: The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9th from 9:30am-10:30am followed by the procession to the graveside service. Please arrive at the Church of our Heritage at Forest Lawn Covina Hills between 9:00am-9:30am.

FUNERAL RECEPTION: Friends and family are welcome to attend a funeral reception beginning at 12pm. The location of the reception will be shared once arrangements are finalized.
