Lorenzo Wong was born in Manila, Philippines and attained Bachelors of Science degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. He came to the U.S. to work for Boeing on the original 747 control systems, and later worked on designing systems for the San Onofre nuclear power station and other projects in Maryland, Singapore, and Taiwan.

He lived in the L.A./Orange County area for more than 50 years, and died of natural causes.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosy, and he is survived by his son, Kenneth, and his daughter, Kathryn, as well as their families.

A private funeral service will be held on April 29, 2021.
