With profound appreciation, I announce the passing of Sr. Chief Petty Officer Lorenzo Villaalta Obfenda, US Navy, a remarkable individual whose extraordinary strength, bravery, and courage continue to inspire. He passed away peacefully in my arms last night at 97 years old in our home in Cypress. Anchors away, Shipman; may God's love and light guide you and bless you with eternal life. Your selfless service to our country and exceptional fatherhood have created a lasting legacy that will continue to motivate and inspire. Your iconic spirit will live on, and I am deeply humbled to call you my father and hero. I will miss you terribly, Dad. It's time for you to reunite with the love of your life, Mom, and your loving son Edwin. I couldnt be more pleased you'll be together again. ππΎβ€οΈπͺπΎπΊπΈ Legendary
