Lolita Abeleda Valbuena, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was surrounded by family. Lolita was born on May 8, 1932, in Lubang, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines. She was the eldest of five children of Leandro and Pacita (Muniz) Abeleda. Lolita was a loving wife, and a kind and generous sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, godmother, aunt, friend and relative. She doted on her family and was happiest when her large brood visited and played mahjong or card games with her. Her laughter and giving spirit will be missed by all.

The family is hosting a visitation at the Faith Chapel in Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills on Sunday, September 18, 2022, from 10 am to 4 pm. Holy Rosary and novena will be recited at 2 pm. The funeral service will be on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 9 am in the Old North Church in Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills. She will be laid to rest immediately following the funeral service.
