Lolita Feria Rosales

August 27, 1932 — October 10, 2014

Lolita Feria Rosales, 82, born on August 27, 1932, in San Felipe, Zambales, Philippines to Marcela Fontecha and Marcial Feria, passed away on October 10, 2014. She resided in Long Beach, California, at the time of her passing.

She is survived by her loving husband Angel Facelo Rosales, one daughter Angie Lee Rosales Fernandez and husband Opty, one son Rickie Rosales and wife Edith, five grandchildren; Jade Fernandez, Rebecca Fernandez, Matthew Rosales, Jonathan Rosales and Erica Rosales, four sisters; Rita Feria Laeno, Luz Fontecha Feria, Divina Feria Farrales, Lynn Feria Salcedo and one brother Marcial Feria, Jr. She has one sister that preceded her, Gloria Feria Rico who joined our Creator in Heaven on April 2006.

Lolita went to Elementary School and High School in San Felipe, Zambales. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education at Philippine Women's University. Soon after graduating college she went to work as a High School Educator. In March 29, 1959 she married Angel Rosales. In 1973 she joined her husband in California.

Lolita and Angel enjoyed the company of their dear friends and relatives. So much so that they had many large parties including their 40th and 50th wedding anniversaries. She was very social and loved being with friends and relatives. People would come over to her house just to talk and enjoy their company. She was very giving and even offered her house for friends and relatives to stay when they were in need. She also helped out her relatives here in the states as well as the ones in the Philippines.

Her hobbies included folk dancing in the Philippines, gardening, and later on, ballroom dancing with her husband and, of course friends. She also enjoyed traveling and touring with her husband and her many friends.

Besides being close to her sisters and brother, and loving her husband and children, Lolita loved being a grandmother and doted on the grandchildren.

Family was the most important and most precious thing to her. Her husband, children and grandchildren always came first.
