Loida Abales Hernandez was born on February 24, 1949 to her parents, Hiliario Abales and Andrea Benitez in Ternate, Cavite, Philippines. She peacefully passed away into God's heavenly grace, surrounded by loved ones, at age 73, on October 14, 2022, at College Medical Center in Long Beach, California, USA.

She may have had some health conditions, but lived her life to the fullest. She poured her heart and soul into all the things she had done. She was an obedient daughter, a supportive sister, a loyal wife, an unconditionally loving mother, a dedicated grandmother, a beloved great-grandmother, a hard worker, a warrior, and a very kind, caring, and giving friend to many who always put the needs of others before her own. She was a woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. She was a woman of strong faith and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right. She was a source of inspiration to us all and will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
