Lloyd Dale Whaley

Lloyd Dale Whaley of Anaheim Hills, California, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2019, at the age of 90.

He was born October 3, 1928, on the family farm near Lexington, Nebraska, the eldest child to Lloyd S. and LaVere (Harris) Whaley. In 1935, the small family moved to Long Beach, California where Lloyd attended public schools. In 1953, he graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degree in business administration and made real estate development and investment his career for close to forty years.

Always fun loving, Lloyd enjoyed many hobbies and interests including photography, flying, sailing, scuba diving, hunting and shooting. Married and divorced twice, he remained single for the last fifty-seven years. Lloyd is survived by his five children: daughter, Linda (Kyle) Olsen; son, Lloyd Steven (Joan) Whaley; son, Robert Whaley; daughter, Leslie Maxwell; and son, Michael (Michelle) Whaley; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rodney D. Whaley (1929-1964); sister, Susan Jane Smith (1938-2012); infant daughter, Lorraine (1959); and two ex-wives.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Cypress.
