Lise Imani Wade, 28, of La Quinta, California passed away on July 28, 2021. Lise was born in Bakersfield, California on April 28, 1993 to her married parents, Michael Wade and Pamella Berryman. She spent a few formative years in Bakersfield before moving to the Coachella Valley in January, 2000 where her paternal grandparents had lived, and where her father grew up. Lise attended the Learning Tree Center in Palm Desert, CA, and Amelia Earhart in La Quinta, CA for her elementary school years. She was an active child, who played in AYSO girls' soccer in Palm Desert, CA, her first team going to their finals and championship. Lise also enjoyed competitive cheerleading with the Desert Elite Mavericks, participating and competing on the youth squads. Lise attended junior high school at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Indio, CA. She enjoyed her time there, she was an acolyte to the Catholic faith, for which she always carried the utmost respect. Upon graduating from OLPH, she attended La Quinta High School in La Quinta, CA. Lise was a consistent student, she had her interests outside the campus in music, dance, design, and fashion. Lise graduated from La Quinta High School in 2011. She elected to attend Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA. She resided in Antioch, CA with her aunt, Donna Wade Anderson, during her attendance there. Lise loved living in the Bay Area, particularly the East Bay/Oakland area. She recited many fun adventures with friends in exploring the cultures of the area. Eventually, home sick for the Desert and Southern California, Lise returned home to spend time with her family. She worked and experienced various jobs before she decided after one year to return to school. Lise lived at her grandparents' second home in San Diego, CA. She concentrated on Forensic Science, a field she had decided would be her major. She became an alumnus of San Diego City College. She elected to work in security for Allied Universal for a few years with the plans of returning to obtain her bachelor's degree in Forensic Science. Lise loved people. Although, somewhat shy, she was always open to making new friends, meeting new people. Her second mother, Regina Douglas-Wade, who she was raised by during her formative years in the Coachella Valley, had impressed upon her the importance of family, and contributing her time to helping people whenever she could. Lise never hesitated to offer her help to people in need. She was highly empathic to the needs of others. She offered her time and money whenever she could. Lise loved music, her favorite performers were Bob Marley, Amy Winehouse, and Lil Bibby. She loved to travel, she enjoyed visiting Jamaica, Hawaii, and the Bahamas. Lise loved life, she loved her family and friends, she loved and is a believer in Jesus Christ as our savior. Lise was a devout Christian. She is survived by her brother, Matthew Chance Wade, her sister, Kasia Nia Wade, her mother, Pamella Renee Berryman, and her father, Dr. Michael James Wade, her grandparents Paul and Piccola Berryman of San Diego, CA. She is preceded by her grandparents, Dr. Ribton and Mrs. Doris Wade, and her second mother, Regina Lynn Douglas-Wade. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial, 69855 E. Ramon Road, in Cathedral City, CA. A graveside euology at Desert Memorial Park, 31705 Da Vall Drive in Cathedral City, CA will follow the service.
