LisaMarie Hernandez Acosta, passed away peacefully at the age of 49 on February 23, 2020, after a vigilante battle with ALS at Pomona Valley Hospital surrounded by family and friends. LisaMarie resided in San Dimas, CA at the time of her passing.

She was born on March 18, 1970, in Pomona, CA, to Mary M. Hernandez and Albert S. Hernandez. She is survived by: her spouse and high school sweet-heart, Alex Ray Acosta, their only son, Ezekiel Ray, both parents, her siblings: Yvonne D. Lawson (sister), Albert S. Hernandez (brother), Jesse Monteon (Hernandez/brother), Sandra Monteon (Hernandez/sister), brother Rudy Monteon (brother), numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins that all loved her dearly.

LisaMarie was a graduate of San Dimas High School, class of 1988. She was a well-known face and employee of Casa Del Rey Restaurant for 30 years, where she left a lasting impression with her laughter and smile.

LisaMarie's greatest joy was serving her family, friends, and community with her creativity, talents, and time. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was ever-present at her son's baseball, football, soccer and basketball games, as well as many school functions. LisaMarie was an active member of the PTA at her son's school and took the lead as treasurer, and volunteered for numerous additional events. She loved to sew, bake and always had a project in the works. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends; sitting on the beach, going to Dodger games, and camping in Mammoth.

Services for LisaMarie will be Wednesday, March 11th with a Rosary at 7 pm at the Church of Our Heritage Forest Lawn Covina Hills. Her Celebration of Life Mass will be Thursday, March 12th at 10 am at Holy Name of Mary Parish in San Dimas. Graveside Services to follow at Forest lawn.
