Lisa Glorinda de Guzman

Dr. Lisa Glo Maceda De Guzman was a caring and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She left this world on May 14, 2024 at age 69. She was born to Dr. Marcelino Maceda and Gloria Portuguez Maceda on July 14, 1954, in Cebu City, Philippines. She married the love of her life, Samuel Ortega De Guzman and completed her Doctor of Medicine degree from Southwestern University. Together they had 3 children: Samuel III, Joe and Santiago; and 8 grandchildren: Alyssa, James, Leah, Jessa, Noah, Anthony, Micah and Andrew. Wanting a better life for the family, they relocated from Cebu City to California. Lisa was able to establish herself as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Lisa loved family gatherings and her grandchildren were her biggest joy. She was a great person to be around and she nurtured those around her. She loved to read books and listen to her Husband sing. She was always helping those around her and would put the needs of other first. She had a very big heart and was there to help people when they needed assistance. She resided in Rialto, CA at the time of her passing. There will be services on Saturday, June 8th at 2:30pm at Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, in the Heritage Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
