Linda E. Vallieres

Atkinson, NH:  Linda E. (Dix) Vallieres, of Atkinson, NH, died suddenly after a brief illness Monday, December 10, 2012, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was born in Fargo, ND the daughter of the late Everet and Augda Dix. She attended schools in East Grand Forks, North Dakota and Wappaton, Minnesota where she earned her LPN license. She married Paul Vallieres of Haverhill, Mass and relocated to Atkinson NH where she went on to attain her RN from NECC. She worked as an RN at the former Hale Hospital, Haverhill Mass and retired from Hampstead Hospital, Hampstead NH. She was a member of the Women's Guild of Holy Angels Church, Plaistow, NH.

Besides being the most loving mother and wife, she enjoyed being active in her community, church and neighborhood. She loved to travel, read, shop and spent many long days in her favorite spot by the pool with her husband and neighborhood friends.

Linda is survived by her husband Paul Vallieres, their son Bryan Vallieres, his wife Cadence, grandson Dustin and two step-daughters and great granddaughter Peyton, all of Nashua, NH, their daughter Deborah Vallieres and her partner Tasha Dunning of Contoocook, NH, two sisters, a brother and many other family members and close friends.

Calling hours: Thursday December 13 from 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., (Plaistow Village) Plaistow NH. A Catholic Mass and services will be held at Holy Angels Church, Plaistow NH on Friday at 10 AM. A private family burial will be held at the St Joseph Cemetery in Haverhill Mass.
