Lillian R. Holyoak

Lillian Holyoak of Sherman Oaks passed away February 1, 2013 at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of Dr. William Holyoak who preceded her in death in 2006. She is survived by her sister, her two daughters and one grandchild.

Raised in Utah, she attended Southern Utah University where she studied music. Gifted with a beautiful voice, she performed in local productions and sang with a trio for the USO. After marriage, she and her husband moved to California where they started a family and made their permanent home. She loved music, travel, cooking and good times with friends. She was devoted to her family raising two daughters and selflessly caring for her husband prior to his death. A delightful optimist, she shared her bright outlook of the world easily. We will always remember her unconditional love, kindness, and many words of support and encouragement.

Services will be held Saturday February 9, 2013 at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills in the Old North Church at 12pm.
