Lilia Wallace

March 31, 1961 — October 31, 2023

On October 31st 2023, Lilia Wallace passed away in Los Angeles, the city that she called home; leaving behind a legacy of love and joy. She was surrounded by her loved ones until the end, where she fought with all her strength. She is survived by her three children, Desiree, Jeremy and Evan as well as her devoted husband, Dale.
Lilia was born on March 31st, 1961 in Los Angeles and was known for her vibrant personality and compassionate nature.
She dedicated 35 years of her life working for the city of Los Angeles, leaving a lasting impact on the community she served. Her dedication and hard work earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and made a positive difference in the lives of many that she worked with.

But, Lilia was not defined by just her job or work ethic; she was also a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother who uplifted all those she came in contact with. She believed in embracing every opportunity to rejoice and celebrate her loved ones. No matter the circumstances, she had the extraordinary ability to find joy in every moment. Whether it was birthdays, holidays, or simply a gathering with family, Lilia would transform any occasion into an extraordinary celebration. Her love for those around her, always radiated into her actions by making those around her feel special, cared for and loved.
Beyond her passion for celebrating others, Lilia had a deep lover of animals. She had an open heart and would often bring home strays, creating a loving sanctuary in her own home. Punky, Fred, Lucy, Ashley, Monique, Ethel, Bambi; the list that's never ending, all benefited from the love that she had. Her loving nature towards animals reflected her strength in compassion and created a home full of love and care.

In addition to her love for animals, Lilia had a keen eye for hidden treasures. She enjoyed thrifting and frequently scoured garage sales, turning discarded items into cherished possessions. Her love of repurposing things with such rich history was her way of learning to understand and cherish the world around her.
Lilia's warm and loving spirit extended beyond hobbies; it permeated every aspect of her life. She was the life of every party, spreading fun with her infectious laugh and silly antics. She was incredibly giving and her generosity knew no bounds. She gave freely without hesitation, always putting others' needs before her own.
Above all else, Lilia found immense joy in being a mother. Taking care of her children and showering them with love and compassion brought her immense happiness. She lived each day striving to bring smiles to their faces and create precious memories together.

Along with these wonderful qualities, Lilia possessed a stubbornness that showed her tenacity in difficult times. When faced with challenges, she fought fiercely and never gave up. Her resilience shined through in all aspects of her life, both good and bad. Even in her final days, she battled till the end.
Lilia faced life with a contagious positivity that inspired all who knew her. Despite her passing too soon, she leaves behind an indelible imprint on this world. Lilia's vivacious personality, loving nature, and passion for life will forever be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Lilia's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will be honored through the following services.
