Librado Portillo Villado

Librado was born on December 26, 1926 in Valle de Allende, Chihuahua Mexico, and passed away on August 11, 2021. Librado was the youngest of five brothers. Most of which lived well into their 90s. In December of 1948, he married Hermergilda Onsurez. They went on to have four children of their own. Librado Onsurez Villado, Alicia Boubin, Norma Magana, and Diego Ernesto Villado. He enjoyed his many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. All who adored their Grandpa and will miss him deeply. When he came to the states he lived in Norwalk CA for the majority of his adult life. He loved baseball almost as much as he loved his family...he was a lifelong Dodger fan and enjoyed watching Dodger games and going to games at Dodger Stadium. Later on in his life, after he lost his wife in death he went on and married Marie DeJesus on July 10th, 1999. They were happily married for 22 years.

In December of 1964 Librado was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved our God Jehovah and because of his love, he served as a full-time minister for more than 20 years, preaching and teaching to all that would listen. He brought many people and families into the truth and was a pillar in the Christian Congregation. He also served as a full-time Shepard of the Christian Congregation for the majority of his life. He was loved by many! He will definitely be missed by many. He is however in the safest place possible and that is in Jehovah's memory until we can see him again.
