Letha Mae Patmon passed away on Monday, March 19th, 2018 after a short illness in Palm Desert, California.

Letha Mae Merrihew was born on October 8th, 1942 in Stockton, California. She was one of six children born to Helen and William Merrihew. She is survived by her son Troy Spady, sister's Chris and Roberta and brother David.

Letha moved to Salinas, California where she became a long-time resident and an invested member in the Salinas community. Letha had an entrepreneurial spirit and was an integral part in the success of the iconic restaurant, The Italian Villa. She also owned several other successful businesses including Mac's Restaurant, a women's clothing store and Steinbeck Travel.

She later moved to the central valley where she met her husband, Charles Patmon and retired in Stockton, California until his passing.

Letha touched the lives of everyone she knew and brought joy and hope to so many. Letha was a kind and generous person with a deep love for her family and friends. She also had a soft spot for those in need, particularly single moms, children, animals and her family. Letha had a passion for enhancing the lives of others, especially those who were in dire need. Her commitment to those she loved led to her selfless efforts to create positive change in the lives of others.

Letha had a beautiful social spirit. She loved meeting new people and trying new things. Letha loved to travel and lived her life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the great pleasure of knowing her.

She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn in Palm Desert, California. We invite you to celebrate her life and her memory on Sunday, April 22nd, 2018 at Gino's Restaurant in Salinas, California from 12:00-4:00PM.
