Leslie Ann (Allard) Waterman, 58 of Virginia Beach, VA formerly of Newton, NH and Tewksbury, MA passed away at her home on Thursday, October 9, 2014 following a long battle with Lupus.

She was born on September 4, 1956 in Washington, D.C. the daughter of Donald R. and Joyce (DeBoard) Allard. She was raised and educated in Maryland.

Leslie was very involved as a teacher's aide in the Haverhill, MA school system as well as at the St. James School. She had also worked for the Seacoast Learning Collaborative, working with children with special needs.

Leslie was a very religious person with a strong faith. She liked watching movies and listening to music. As a younger woman, she enjoyed playing with her children and caring for animals who needed a home. She will be remembered as a caring person who loved her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her father, Donald R. Allard. She is survived by her mother, Joyce Allard of Derry, NH, her daughter, Rachel Jones and husband, Mike of West Newbury, MA, her sons, Ryan Waterman and his fiancé, Kendra Landry of Rye, NH and Stephen Waterman of Lowell, MA, her grandchildren, Jackson Jones, Liam Waterman and Chase Jones, her nieces, Kristin Murphy, Kara Lynch and Kathleen Lynch. Several cousins also survive her.

Family and friends are invited to attend Leslie's Life Celebration on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 4 – 7:00 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street (Rt. 121A), Plaistow, NH 03865. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
