Leonora Toledo, 96, born on January 10, 1929, passed away October 13, 2025. She resided in Brandywine, MD at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Long Beach, CA.

Leonora “Anching” Jimenez Toledo, age 96, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025 in Maryland. She was born on January 10, 1929 in Mabolo, Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines, to Emiliano and Eleuteria Jimenez. Leonora was born and raised in Mabolo, Bacoor, Cavite, and moved to Long Beach, California, on December 8, 1988. She proudly became a U.S. citizen on February 23, 1996.

She is survived by her loving daughter Rosalinda Cayabyab (Felipe); daughters-in-law Gloria Toledo, wife of her late son, Efren Toledo and Arlene Toledo, wife of her late son, Elmer Toledo; grandchildren Eric Toledo (Nerissa), Edgar Toledo, Jermaine Toledo (Nicole), Jarrish Toledo, Roselyn Raghubar (Gary), Cherlyn Mata (Eric), and Mylyn Suarez (Steven); and great-grandchildren Deannalyn Suarez, Lylie Suarez, Bianca Mata, Hannah Raghubar, Jeremiah Mata, Sofia Suarez, Paxton Suarez, Roxanne Suarez, Ronnie Raghubar, Ervy Toledo, Evan Toledo, Ejay Toledo, Edrian Toledo, Kristine Toledo, Mark Toledo, Zayn Toledo, Dominic Turner, Aria Turner, Amber Toledo, and Damon Toledo. She is also survived by her brother Rodrigo Jimenez, sister Corazon Nocon, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Emiliano and Eleuteria, husband Benigno, sons Efren and Elmer, grandson Jerome, and her siblings Roderigo, Victoria, Elena, Sevilla, Leoncio, Benjamin, Mariano, Manuel, Eduardo, and Jose.

In the Philippines, Leonora worked alongside her husband as a conductor collecting fare fees from passengers in his jeepney business. In America, she enjoyed working at Van Camp Seafood Company. Her greatest work was her love and care for family. She found joy in cooking and in serving others, always putting the needs of her loved ones first. Known for her kindness, strength, and generosity, “Lola Anching” will forever be remembered for her loving heart, her home-cooked meals, and the comfort she brought to everyone around her.

Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the countless lives she touched with her warmth and devotion.
