Leonides Portuguez

Leonides Portuguez was born on March 20, 1946, in Cebu, Philippines. He passed away on November 14, 2025 in El Monte, CA where he's lived for the past 43 years. He is survived by his wife, Myrna, daughter, Enid, mother, Felicitas, and sister, Alicia. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.

Leonides—or "Toto" as many call him—was a man with a warm smile, razor sharp wit, analytical mind, and a generous spirit. A mechanical engineer by trade, he took pride and careful consideration to anything he put his mind and energy towards, from caring for his cars and fixing machines to cooking the perfect steak. He was known for being lucky at casino slots, being the first to cut a boogie on the dancefloor, and the one to make a joke when you needed a laugh. 

His family and friends will always remember the immense joy he brought to our lives and the wonderful memories we are fortunate to have shared. Rest in eternal peace, Toto.
