Leoncia Lelis De Castro, 72, was born on April 18, 1953, in Legazpi City, Philippines. Fondly known as Leony or “Ising,” she was one of eleven children born to Anastacia P. Lelis and Ambrosio Lelis.

Leony dedicated many years of her life to working in the healthcare field as a nurse, where her compassion and kindness touched countless lives, a reflection of her deeply caring nature. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: cooking meals for loved ones, singing, and tending to her garden. Known for her generosity, she gave freely of herself and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those around her.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Marianne Antonio and Stephanie De Castro, and her cherished granddaughter, Olivia.

Leony passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2026, in Van Nuys, California, and has returned to the Lord.
