Leonardo Llave

Leonardo Marasigan Llave, 79, born on June 19, 1946, in Lucena City, Philippines, has passed on to his eternal home on July 22, 2025. He resided in Buena Park, CA at the time of his passing.

Nardito or Nards, as he was known by family and friends, was a quiet, gentle and very responsible man. He was a very attentive and loving husband and father, who only had eyes for his family.

He was the salutatorian of his graduating high school class at Lucena High School. He opted to go to the local Luzonian College instead of the University of the Philippines so as not to be a burden to his family. He helped to raise pigs so he would have tuition money to pay for college. He was one of 3 people from their college to pass the national accounting certification test in one try. And he was hired by a prestigious accounting firm after college. Afterwards, he became the Finance manager at Encyclopedia Britannica Philippines head office, which was the equivalent of Google at that time. Nardito was always a selfless man when it comes to his family. He gave them his all, hardly leaving anything for himself. His loss leaves a big void in our hearts and he will be sorely missed.

Nardito was predeceased by his parents, Abelardo Llave and Purificacion Marasigan; sister, Levita, and brother, Lindo.  He is survived by his wife, Cezarine; daughers, Llewellyn, Lorellyn and Lenilyn; sister, Lorna, and brothers, Luis, Lorenzo and Leandro; son-in-laws, Kenny, Allan and John; and grandchildren, Kevin, Konrad, Kaela, Hazel, Alexis Jae, Leonardo and Kathryn.

Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA with address at 4471 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, California 90630. Viewing will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025 from 1:00 - 9:00 pm at the Hope Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at the Patriots Chapel, with burial to follow.
