Leny Ramirez, a woman of remarkable warmth and strength, passed away on April 7th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience that will be forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on September 16th, 1953, in Caloocan, Philippines, Leny was the beloved daughter of Rufino Guanzon and Ester Marquez. Alongside her siblings Rudolfo, Susing, Boy, Milagros, and Johnny, Leny was raised in an environment that nurtured her compassionate spirit and unwavering determination.
On July 31st, 1977, Leny embarked on a lifelong journey of love and commitment when she married Larry Ramirez, a dedicated member of the Coast Guard. Together, they built a loving family, which included their children Lourdes Yanga, Lea Ramirez, Rodel Ramirez, Lydia Pontillas, Romel Ramirez, Rowel Ramirez, and Richard Ramirez. Leny was also blessed with 16 adoring grandchildren, who brought endless joy into her life.
In February 12th, 1991, Leny embarked on a new chapter of her life, immigrating to the United States with her family. Despite facing various challenges, Leny's resilient spirit and tireless work ethic saw her through. Over the years, she explored various entrepreneurial ventures, but it was upon discovering her passion for cooking that Leny truly found her calling. Her kitchen became a place of creativity and warmth, where she delighted in experimenting with new dishes and sharing her culinary creations with loved ones.
Outside of her culinary pursuits, Leny found solace and joy in spending time with her family and friends. She cherished moments of togetherness and prayer, finding strength and comfort in the bonds of friendship and faith.
Leny Ramirez will be remembered as a caring, kind, and generous soul, whose selflessness and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy of love and resilience will continue to inspire and uplift those she leaves behind.
Leny may have departed from this world, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her grace. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
