Lena Simonian

Lena Simonian, 82, born on April 21, 1935, in Sisian, Armenia, passed away January 2, 2018. She resided in La Crescenta, California at the time of her passing.

Lena was an elegant, humorous, charming woman with many talents. She was an extremely accomplished educator and athlete. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She raised four children- two sets of twins, and cared for many more as a teacher and principal. Her strength, humor, and incredible optimism brought joy to everyone who knew her. She lived her life according to the words of her favorite poem, "To love is to exist; the opposite of love is not hate, it is simply non-existence." Her legacy of LOVE, optimism, and humor will live in her children forever.

She is survived by her four children, six grandchildren, and extended family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, California. Services will be held on Thursday, January 11 at 12:30 PM at 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, 90068.
