Lena's obituary

Lena Veronica Corey 94, of Hemet, CA passed away November 22nd, 2022, with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Giovanni and Letizia Camboni April 6th, 1928 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. After graduating from cosmetology school, she worked as a Barber for many years.

She married John Corey and had one child, Gary Corey. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Tracy Lowry and Tamara Crisp and six great-grandchildren. Lena was predeceased by her parents and her sister Albina Danesi whom immigrated from Italy.

Lena was loved by everyone she met, and could often be found chatting with people of any age and from all walks of life. She was immensely dedicated to her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She loved to sew and cook for her family, often repeating the phrase, "When I die, just stuff me and put me in the kitchen."

A private internment will be held at Forest Lawn in Cypress, CA. The family asks that people make donations in support of Alzheimer's in lieu of sending flowers.
