LeJuan Anthony Callier was born on January 5th, 1962 in Mobile, Alabama to parents his parents Emmett and Doris Callier, who later moved to Long Beach, California when LeJuan was 8 months old. He attended Webster Elementary School, Stephens Jr. High, Wilson High School, and graduated from Long Beach Poly. While at Poly High School, LeJuan was on the track and field team where he excelled. He also ran for the Lancers Track Club. In 1975 he participated in the Mohammad Ali indoor track meet and took first place along with his teammates. LeJuan attended Pasadena City College. He later joined the military where he served in the U.S. Air Force for 9 years and then the reserves for 8 years. LeJuan met and married his high school sweetheart Jennifer Reeves and to this union a son was born, Dominique. While in the military, he and his family traveled the world as he was stationed in Germany, Colorado, Hawaii, and many other places. After leaving the military he was employed by the U.S. Post Office where retired after 18 years. He later moved to San Antonio, Texas and was most recently employed by the Oil and Gas industry as a computer analyst. LeJuan was an avid fan of all genres of music: jazz, hip hop, and rap. He was also quite the comedian who loved to make people laugh; and laugh they did, as did his late father Emmett. LeJuan passed on October 3, 2015 in Texas. he was preceded in death by his Father, Emmett (Tony) Callier. He is survived by his Wife of 33 years, Jennifer Reeves Callier, a Son Domonique Callier, his Mother Doris Callier, one Sister Dara (Desmond) Cooper, three Brothers, Mark (Denine) Callier, Derek Callier, and Troy (Kathy) Callier, one sister-in-law Stephanie Reeves, his oldest Nephew DeShawn Anthony, whom he was a Father figure to, a special Aunt Evelyn Knight, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His spirit and fond memories will always be in our hearts.
