Leetrice F. "Lee" (Cole) Gordon – Newton, NH
Age 70 of Newton, passed away on June 3, 2013 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and friends.

Lee was born on August 15, 1942 in Lynn, MA the daughter of the late Leland and Beatrice (Hapgood) Cole. She was raised in both Nahant and North Andover, MA. She graduated from North Andover High School. She attended both Merrimack College and Salem State College and earned her Bachelor's Degree in business from Salem State College. Lee had been working towards her Master's Degree at Boston University.

Lee worked for many years as a teacher, first at North Andover High School and later at Hampstead Academy. She was the supervisor of the check list for the Town of Newton and worked as the book keeper for the family business, Gordon & Sons Garage Inc. Lee owned and operated Country Pride Ceramics in Newton, NH. Until her recent illness, Lee worked as a tax examiner for the IRS in North Andover, MA.

She loved spending time with her granddaughters. She enjoyed taking photos and scrapbooking, as well as travelling and spending time at the beach. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her former husband, Richard Gordon of East Kingston, NH. Her daughter, Kimberly A. Gordon and her son, Dale A. Gordon and his wife, Kara, all of Newton, NH. Her brother, Robert Cole and his wife, Julie of Concord, NH. Her sister, Irene Andrew of Methuen, MA and her sister-in-law, Aurora Cole of Hawaii. Her granddaughters, Emma Gordon and Ella Gordon of Newton, NH as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. She was predeceased by her brother, James Cole.
