Leandro Ibarra Tangonan

Dr. Leandro Ibarra Tangonan, 88, born on March 13, 1926, in San Jose, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, peacefully passed away December 2, 2014. He resided in Los Angeles, California, at the time of his passing. He was the son of Julian Tangonan and Leodegaria Ibarra (both deceased). He served as Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus in Caloocan, past President of Lions Club, Caloocan Chapter, Founder and President of the Caloocan City Joggers Club. He was a dentist and served the Caloocan community for 48 years. He was a World War II veteran, philanthropist, a loving husband, devoted father, a kind and generous man.

He is survived by his wife, Angela; 4 daughters and 2 sons: Lauren, Elvira, Gladys, Eileen, Alvin and Julius; 9 grandchildren: Rowell, Jason, Lyand, Michelle, Rowelyn, Alyssa, Joshua, Erin and Andrew; 3 sisters and two brothers: Trinidad Pascual, Violeta Salvador, Alejandria Boisier, Agripino Tangonan, and Jose Tangonan.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.
