Lawrence Douglas Hill

Mr. Larry Douglas Hill, 87, born on August 16, 1932, in Memphis, TN, passed away May 13, 2020, in Ruidoso, NM. Larry was a Hardwoods Lumber and Exotic Woods salesman in California. He met Dorothy when he was serving in the United States Marine Corps. He leaves his wife, Dorothy, children, Greg (Elizabeth), Mark (Trees), and Valerie (Alfonso); his sisters, Dusty and Kathe (Robert); nephew, Mike; grandsons, Christopher, Nathan (Heather), Brad (Shannon), Erik (Aidee), and Travis; granddaughters, Karina, Lilly, and Emily; great-grandkids, Aubree, Owen, and Bennett. The Hill family held a small memorial at the Hondo Iris Farm & Gallery on Sunday, May 17, 2020. Pastor Tanya Tyler of the First Christian Church officiated with the Marine Corps League and Honor Guard. A viewing and burial will be held at Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA, on Friday, May 29, 2020. The viewing will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the burial at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Dale Graham of Seabreeze Church of Huntington Beach, CA, will officiate.
