Lavon Lynn Reintjes

Lavon Lynn Reintjes was born on April 18, 1954, in Denver, Colorado and sadly passed away March 13, 2013. Lavon was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to so many people. If you were fortunate to have her in your life then you were truly blessed. Her smile would light up a room and the love she had for her family and friends was never ending and unconditional.

Out of all her talents and accomplishments, Lavon was most proud of her family. She was a loving wife to Lane… mother to Donovan, Daniel and Darin… grandmother to Christian, Darin, Laila and Lucy… caring sister to Collette, Eileen, Carol and Mechele, and mother in law to Lisa and Amy.

Lavon had a passion and talent for many of the artistic crafts. To name just a few… she was an accomplished tole painter, amazing seamstress, creative scrapbooker and created beautiful porcelain dolls. But her true gift was her incredible quilts. She created extraordinary works of art every time she sat down at her sewing machine. Her talent and creative vision were unsurpassed. As the people who loved her so much, wrap themselves in her quilts, Lavon's love will continue to be felt by so many who will miss her.

Her final resting place will be at Forest Lawn, Cypress, California, but her love and her laughter will live in our hearts as she continues to watch over her family and guide them through life. Today there is one more beautiful, bright star in the heavens watching over us.
