Lavon E. Clot Brueckner

July 14, 1916 — July 24, 2015

Lavon E. Brueckner, 99, born on July 14, 1916, in Valdese, North Carolina. She moved with her family to Los Angeles in 1924. She met her husband, Clarence Brueckner while attending Metropolitan High School. They were married in 1936 and were together until his death in 1975. She is survived by her four children: Diane (Ross) McLeod, Carol (Pete) Burgert, Craig (Elaine) Brueckner, and Lynn (Steve) Morgan. In addition she had ten grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great, great-grandchildren. She passed away on July 24, 2015 surrounded by her family. She resided in San Diego, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Tierrasanta Village of San Diego.
