Laurence S. "larry" Waldron

August 18, 1934 — June 1, 2016

Hampstead – Laurence S. "Larry" Waldron passed away on June 1, 2016 at Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA. He spent his final days surrounded by those who loved him best. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Cynthia J. Waldron (born Cynthia J. Ricker).

Laurence, "Larry" to all who knew him, was born in Hartland, Maine to a family of 8 children. He married Cynthia J. Ricker on December 28, 1965. Together they raised their 4 children and made their home in Hampstead, NH. Larry was known for his wry sense of humor and giving heart. He helped friends and family in need without question. Larry owned his own drywall business and worked very hard throughout his life and in his later years was content to sit and talk with visitors and enjoy his New England sports teams on TV. He was a passionate bird watcher and spent hours and a small fortune caring and watching his small feathered friends. Larry was a passionate outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Plaistow Fish and Game Club for over 40 years where he could be found most Sunday mornings playing 45's.

Larry leaves behind his 4 children, 1 sibling, and many nieces, nephews, grand kids and great grand kids, who will all miss him greatly. He and Cindy were the bedrock of their family. The emptiness left by their passing will remain with his loved ones always. He is now at peace and rejoined at last with his loving wife in God's heavenly kingdom.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 9 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. The rendering of Military Honors by the United States Navy will follow at 6:15 p.m. In Lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to the American Audubon Society (https://secure.audubon.org/site/Donation2?df_id=9332&9332.donation=form1&s_src=2015_AUDHP_topbanner_button-donate) or the NH Fish and Game Department (http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/funding/donate.html).
