Danville, NH: Laura M. (Fugere) Tebo, 43, of Danville and formerly of Brentwood and Plaistow, died on February 1, 2015 with her husband by her side.
Born in Lawrence, MA, daughter of Carol A. (Buote) and the late Robert E. Fugere, Jr., she attended St. Mary's School in Danvers and graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School, Peabody, MA, with the Class of 1989. Laura went on to receive her degree in Business from Bay Path College in Long Meadow, MA.
Laura had a passion for gymnastics as a Coach for Ace Gymnastics in Ipswich. She was devoted to her students and helped many of them to qualify and obtain scholarships at major colleges and universities. One of her students was recently ranked as the number one female collegiate gymnast in the country. In 2011 she was named Junior Olympics Coach of the Year by the Massachusetts Board of the U.S. Gymnastics Association.
In addition to gymnastics, Laura's other passion was riding horses. She owned and boarded horses and competed in many local and regional shows and competitions in her younger years. She was also a volunteer at the New Hampshire Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Stratham. An accomplished dancer as a child she was a former student of the late Alice Franz, of Lawrence.
She is survived by her loving husband of sixteen years, Keith A. Tebo, her mother, Carol A. (Buote) Fugere, of Boxford, her brother Paul R. Fugere of Andover, a nephew, Zachary Fugere, a niece, Madison Fugere, and sister-in-law Andrea Fugere, all of Andover and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Laura's Life Celebration on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. The family requests flowers be omitted.
