Larry Gene Todd

June 17, 1950 — October 19, 2021

Larry Gene Todd, 71, born on June 17, 1950, in Maywood, CA, United States, passed away October 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by both his parents, William H. Todd and Betty Sue Wood, his wife Shelley Redburn Todd, and brother William H. Todd Junior.
Larry is survived by his daughter Amanda Brown (Clint) and two cherished grandsons: Jared Brown and Liam Brown. Additionally, he leaves behind his sisters Michal Linda Todd-Cornelius, Terry Holman (Bob), Sheri Kirkendall (Ken), Dixie West (Chris) and numerous grieving nieces and nephews for whom Larry was always an example of dignity and humility.
Larry grew up and lived his entire life in California, except for his brief but formative years in the US Army, when he served his country in Viet Nam during that conflict. Some of the stateside bases he trained at were Fort Polk, Louisiana and Fort Ord, California.
He worked for the USPS from the time he graduated Ganesha High School in Pomona, eventually working his way up to Carrier Supervisor both in Pomona and Diamond Bar. He was always very proud of "his" Postal Service and enjoyed many treasured memories of the decades he spent there before his declining health forced him to retire.
He resided in the Jurupa Valley community (formerly Glen Avon) of Riverside, CA at the time of his passing.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
