Lai Har Chan Chu

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Lai Har Chu, who left us peacefully on January 13, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on November 24, 1937, in China, Lai Har’s life was a testament to resilience, kindness, and unconditional love.

She made her home in Los Angeles, CA, where she built a life centered on family, generosity, and quiet strength. Lai Har was a woman of deep wisdom and warmth, whose gentle presence brought comfort to those around her. She took great pride in her family, always putting their needs above her own and finding joy in even the simplest moments shared together. Her unwavering love, patience, and nurturing spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

Lai Har leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held to honor her life.
