July 25, 1923 — November 20, 2014

It is with deep, heavy sadness that we announce the death of our loving father, Kwong D. Wong, who passed away on November 20, 2014 at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, Glendale, California. Our father was born on July 25, 1923 in Toishan, Guandong, China and lived in the United States for most of his life. Married to our ever-devoted mother Wan Ling for more than 65 years, he is also survived by what he always deemed to be his nine pride and joy in addition to his wife -- his two daughters, two sons, two daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren. He had a penchant for extemporaneous humor and an easy serene smile that brought joys and comforts to those around him. A church service honoring him will be held at the Church of The Recessional, at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2014, followed by the funeral interment at the Glendale Forest Lawn in the Garden of Honor, both are to take place at 1712 South Glendale Avenue, Glendale, California 91205.
