Kim Song

Kim Song, a warm and loving spirit, left this world on January 10, 2026, at the age of 86. A devoted mother and grandmother, Kim was born on April 15, 1939. Her life was an inspiring tapestry woven with love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to her family.

Kim is survived by her beloved children: Lisa Chu, Tiffany Chhu, Sean Chhu, Meng Chhu, Rick Chhu, Ty Chhu, and Peter Chhu. Each of them carries a piece of her kindness and strength within their hearts. She found great joy in being a grandmother, and her legacy continues through her 14 cherished grandchildren: Jimmy, Danny, Aileen, Nathan, Julie, Hannah, Megan, Allen, Alison, Stephenie, Aiwen, Ethan, Ryan, and Daniel. They will forever remember her gentle smile and the warm embrace that made them feel loved and invincible.

Preceding her in death was her devoted husband, Eang Chhu, who held a special place in her heart. Together, they created a beautiful family, and their love served as a guiding light for all who knew them.

Funeral services to celebrate Kim's life will be held at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills - Church of our Heritage in Covina, California. The viewing will be on Friday, February 6, 2026, starting at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and the burial service will be on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 2:30 - 3:30 PM. These services will honor the remarkable life she led and the love she shared with all.

As friends and family gather to remember the light that was Kim Song, they will carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and indomitable spirit. Her presence will be profoundly missed, but the love she spread throughout her life will remain in the hearts of those she touched.
