It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Huezo on November 26, 2025, in Pasadena, California. Born on May 30, 1975, in Pomona, Kevin lived a life overflowing with love.
Kevin was the kind of person who made everyone feel like they mattered. At Lockton, where he worked as a senior insurance analyst for the last fourteen years, he wasn't just a colleague. He was the one organizing happy hours, checking in when someone needed a friend, and turning coworkers into family. His warmth and infectious enthusiasm lit up every room he entered.
He graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 1997 and earned his Master's degree from NYU in 2002. What he treasured most from those years were the friendships that lasted a lifetime. Kevin and his CMC friends celebrated life together through concerts, long dinners, and adventures hunting for vinyl records. These weren't just outings. They were the threads that wove a beautiful tapestry of shared joy and memories.
The center of Kevin's world was his soulmate, Angie. Their love story began later in life, but it was everything love should be. Together they built a beautiful life in their Pasadena home, filled with so much love and devotion to each other. Whether they were travelling the world, trying a new restaurant, or relaxing at home, they just wanted to be together. Even through his courageous battle with advanced lymphoma, Kevin chose positivity and joy. Angie was by his side every step of the way, and their love remained unshakeable.
Family meant everything to Kevin. Every Thursday without fail, he called his mother, Lily. Those conversations were sacred to him, a constant in his life no matter what else was happening. Sunday dinners began with a greeting in the driveway from his father, Jose. These afternoons spent with his parents and brothers, Celim and Erick, were precious. The bond between Kevin and his family ran deep. The love they share is the kind that doesn't fade, and Kevin made sure they felt it every single day.
Kevin welcomed everyone with generous hugs and that unforgettable, genuine smile that you could see in his eyes. He was passionate about FC Barcelona, had an eye for style and beauty, and surrounded himself with vibrant colors and the music he loved. Those connections fed his soul.
Kevin was deeply proud of his Salvadoran heritage. He loved the tropical warmth, the scent of burning copal, and the food that reminded him of home. Most of all, El Salvador held his most precious memories with his beloved grandparents.
Kevin leaves behind his devoted wife, Angie Dillman; his loving parents, Lily and Jose Huezo; and his brothers, Celim and Erick Huezo. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
A Memorial Service to honor Kevin's life will be held on December 20, 2025, at 9:00 AM, at the Old North Church in Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California.
As we gather to celebrate Kevin, let us remember the joy he gave so freely, the love he shared so generously, and the beautiful life he lived.
