Kenneth Bruce Wilkinson
Age 50 of Hampstead, NH passed away unexpectedly on Thursday October 11, 2012 while on business in Florida.

Ken was born on February 4, 1962 in Milford, CT the son of Bruce and Margaret (Meehan) Wilkinson.  He was raised and educated in Beverly Farms, MA and graduated from Beverly High School, Class of 1980.  He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.

Ken had a lengthy and distinguished career with Raytheon Corporation in Tewksbury, MA, where he was a senior mechanical engineer.  Although much of his work was classified, Ken was proud to have devoted his working life to the safety and security of his fellow citizens.

Ken's children were his passion.  He coached his sons in basketball, baseball and soccer.  When he was not coaching his boys, he loved cheering them on as they competed and took great joy in watching his daughter perform.  He also enjoyed boating, camping and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife Brenda M. (Guilmette) Wilkinson; sons Michael and Brian and daughter Alison Fritzsche; sisters, Denise Bertucci and her husband Stephen and their daughters, Michelle and Lauren, all of Pembroke Pines, FL, and Marie Howard and her husband the Honorable Jeffrey Howard and their sons, John and Joseph, all of Salisbury, NH.  Ken's father-in law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Dorothy Guilmette also survive him.

Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 4 to 8 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main Street Rt. 121A in Plaistow, NH 03865.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 11 AM at St. Anne's Church, 26 Emerson Ave. in Hampstead, NH.  At the request of Ken's family, friends are asked to meet at the church on Thursday as there will not be a procession from the funeral home.
