Kenneth John Walters

Kenneth "Kenny" John Walters, 80, born on November 8, 1938, in Cleveland, OH and passed away August 19, 2019. Kenny resided in Alhambra, CA at the time of his passing; he resided in Alhambra for nearly 74 years. He moved from Cleveland to Alhambra, California at the age of seven. Ken graduated from Alhambra High School in 1959. He met the love of his life Lois Elizabeth Rock when he was sixteen years old in Alhambra, CA. They married at the San Gabriel Mission Church on May 7, 1960 in San Gabriel, California. Ken served in the Army National Guard for five years from 1961 to 1966 and received awards as a Marksman. Ken worked for his father at the A.J. Walters Chevron Service Station in Alhambra for a few years. He also worked for Youngs Market Company; he was with that company for approximately 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents August John Walters & Martha Walters; beloved wife, Lois Rock Walters and sister, Carol Walters Scheiwiller. He is survived by his two daughters Jennifer (Walters) McReynolds and Heather Walters; one granddaughter, Jenna Walters; son-in-law, William McReynolds; step-grandsons Matthew and Sean McReynolds; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends and neighbors. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.
