Kenneth L. Green was born on April 1, 1939 to Frank Green Sr. and Beulah Green in Los Angeles, Ca. Kenneth was the third of four children. He came to know God at an early age, at Grant Chapel AME Church located in Los Angeles, Ca.
Kenneth was a classy, fun, and loving individual to be around, who also would crack a joke or two. On any given occasion Kenneth was dressed to impress. He enjoyed dancing, working out, taking care of his yard, watching the latest plays, playing various musical instruments, listening to jazz and Motown oldies, and eating sweets. Kenneth was also know for his love of cars, especially for keeping them sparking clean, shiny and running well. One of Kenneth's cars, a 1958 purple Buick Electra was featured on the cover of "Hot Rod Magazine".
Kenneth was a member of LA Fitness Gym, where he spent at least 5 nights a week working out. Kenneth was also a member of DAPS Police Department Program and a numerous of car clubs.
As a young man, Kenneth worked numerous jobs which helped him become "A Jack of All Trades" profession. Kenneth worked for the city of Los Angeles. Kenneth was employed by the State of California Juvenile Correctional Facility and the State of California Employment Development Department for thirty plus years until he retired in 2004.
After retirement Kenneth spent his time traveling to various countries and cruising the high seas.
On January 28, 2019, Kenneth was called home. His memories will forever be cherished by his children and granddaughter; Michael, Stephen, Deatrice (Dee-Dee), and Chyna. One brother, Rudy (Gloria), a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, and two very special and dedicated nieces, LaDonne Green (Joann) and Lavonne Wilborn.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.
