Kenneth N. Glover

Plaistow, NH: Kenneth N. Glover, 90, of Plaistow, NH, died Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Beth Israel Deaconness Hospital, Boston, MA.

Born in Newton, NH, he was the son of the late Roswell and Nettie (Adams) Glover. He attended Pollard School, Plaistow and Sanborn Seminary and served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army Air Corps, stationed in Italy, during WWII. Mr. Glover worked as a Layout Operator for Western Electric, A T & T and Lucent Technologies for twenty-five years until his retirement in 1985. He moved to St. Cloud, FL in 1988 where he resided until 2006.

He was a member of the Newton Junction Baptist Church, the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Knights of Pythias, Plaistow. An avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, he enjoyed coaching Little League and volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America. He also enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, bowling, camping and wrestling.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Barbara (Collins) Glover; three sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne E. and Linda Glover of Kissimmee, FL, David K. Glover of Newton and Michael T. and Patricia Glover of Plaistow; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Brown of Plaistow; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his two sisters and three brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration on Thursday, February 5, 2015, from 4 to 6 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., (Route 121A), Plaistow, NH. A Funeral Service will follow at 6:15 PM at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will take place in the Spring in Plaistow Cemetery, Plaistow, NH.
