Kenneth Ross Field

Kenneth Ross Field, Jr., 78, was born on June 7, 1933, in Ogden, Utah. He passed away April 30, 2012. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.

Kenny resided in Garden Grove, California for over 43 years. He was husband to Winifred Field for 52 years, father to Kathleen May Field Barber (who passed in 1996), Thomas Ross and Stephen Mikel. Grandfather to Daniel Scott, Jonathan Mikel, Robert William, Jonathan Thomas, Joshua Thomas, Matthew James and Jace Thomas. Great Grandfather to Kathie. He had one step-son, David Mikel.

Kenny spent many years selling and investing in real estate. He drove a bus for many years and retired from OCTA. He enjoyed working with engines and could often be found under the hood of a car just looking for something to fix. He loved visiting Las Vegas and went there several times a year. Kenny was an avid football fan. He enjoyed watching his children and later Jonathan on the local fields and spent many hours watching professional football. He instilled his values in his boys. Never watch baseball. You may as well watch the grass grow. They believe it to this day.

It was always stimulating to be around Ken. He read the entire paper every day and knew so many amazing things. He enjoyed writing to the editor and had several items published. He loved politics and discussing his conservative views on various issues. He was such a good man to ask about just about anything. If you needed sound advice, Ken was your man.
