Keith Wayne Stafford

Keith Stafford passed away peacefully at USC-Keck Medical Center two days after heart valve replacement surgery, with his closest family members at his side.
Born in Minneapolis to Leland and Corrine Stafford, he spent most of his life in the Los Angeles area. He was a childhood radio performer and went on to serve in the Army during WWII. After the war he entered the entertainment industry working for Paramount Studios for nearly 40 years, then into independent practice as a Sound Editor. He worked on a number of major films such as The 10 Commandments, Little Hauss and Big Falsy, Paint Your Wagon and The Outlaw Josey Wales. He entertained family and friends for years with his stories of Old Hollywood.
Stafford married Sara A. Lee in 1949 and had a daughter Linda in 1951. Keith and Sara were married 54 years. Several years after Sara's passing Keith married Dorothy (Dottie) Long. They enjoyed a rich and happy life including an extended family, until Dottie's passing in 2012. He is survived by grandson Kenton Harris, step-sons Tom and Mike Long, son-in-law Tom Harris and daughter Linda Stafford.
Per Mr. Stafford's request there will be no services. Cremation and interment will be at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
