Alan Ballinger, 63, of Palm Springs, Calif., passed from this life in Danuta's arms on March 8, 2015 in Palm Springs. He was born on December 8, 1951, to Glen D. and Betty J. Ballinger in Findlay, Ohio. He married Danuta Bator on September 15, 1996, in Ashley, Ohio. He was the founder of the Columbus Lowriders Quad Rugby Team and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He is survived by his wife, Danuta; step-Children, Heidi Foster and Edward Skerness of Ohio; sister, Sheila K. Rumora of Florida; brother, Richard D.; as well as grandsons, Matthew, Ivan, Noah all of Ohio. A visitation will be held in the Ramon Chapel at Forest Lawn Cathedral City on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Forest Lawn Cathedral City is in charge of arrangements.
