It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathy Campbell, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Kathy was born on December 1, 1954, and left this world on August 23, 2023. Throughout her life, Kathy embodied qualities of energy, love, positivity, supportiveness, and encouragement. Her infectious spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Kathy's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She loved taking her grandchildren to the zoo and splashing around in Bill's pool with them. These moments brought her immense happiness as she watched their faces light up with excitement and wonder. Additionally, Kathy enjoyed taking leisurely walks around the neighborhood, engaging in heartfelt conversations with friends and neighbors along the way.
Among Kathy's many interests were building elaborate Lego structures, capturing precious memories through photography, and engaging in friendly competitions during game nights. She found great fulfillment in creating lasting bonds with loved ones and ensuring that they felt supported at every step of their journey.
An incredibly proud mother, Kathy's proudest accomplishments revolved around her family. She nurtured a close-knit bond with Ryan (son), Erin (daughter), Evan (son), Megan (daughter), Riley (granddaughter), and Quinn (granddaughter). Her unwavering support and unconditional love formed the foundation upon which their lives flourished.
As we gather to honor Kathy's memory and celebrate the beautiful life she lived, a funeral service will be held on September 7th, 2023. The service will commence at 9:00 AM at Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills - Old North Church located at 6300 Forest Lawn Drive in Los Angeles, California (90068). There will be a celebration of life following the service at 13958 Peach Grove St., Sherman Oaks, CA (91423). All those who wish to pay their respects are welcome to attend this solemn occasion.
Kathy may no longer be physically present among us, but her vibrant spirit and legacy will continue to shine brightly. She leaves behind cherished memories and a profound impact on the lives she touched. Let us remember her with love, gratitude, and fondness, forever etching her name in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Church on The Way (www.churchontheway.org) a cause that was dear to Kathy's heart. These contributions will honor her memory by supporting a cause she passionately believed in.
Kathy Campbell has left an indelible mark on our lives, reminding us to cherish our loved ones and create treasured moments with them. With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a remarkable woman who will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
