Kathryn M. Konoske, 83, of San Diego, California died October 13th 2014 at Shea Family Care in La Jolla. Kathryn was born in Pasadena, California on March 3, 1931 to Charles and Kathryn McDonough. Kathryn was a romantic and had many great loves. Her greatest was for her husband, Bob, her partner for 60 years. She loved teaching and for 40 years, students sought out her high school Literature classes. Finally, she loved books and did not appreciate technology's attempt to make them obsolete. Her husband Bob passed away in 2009. She is survived by her brother Charles, sons Bob Jr, Vince, and Greg and daughter Paula. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren. Kathryn will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Services will be held Thursday, October 23rd at Forest Lawn, Cypress at 12:30 p.m.
