Kathryn Conley

On August 30, 2024, Kathryn Colette Huncke Conley left this world to join the party in the sky. Kay was a Southern California native who grew up in Westchester. 

She and her husband, Tom, were married for over fifty years. They moved to Westlake Village in 1971, where they raised their two children, Brooks and Kelli. Kay was an active community member, donating her time to the National Charity League and Las Amigas. 

Kay enjoyed life and made it festive for everyone – always one to decorate and celebrate any holiday or other event. Recent parties included a 3 AM Royal Wedding tea party, Elvis’ birthday, and the Kentucky Derby. Kay balanced a sense of humor and fun with an unerring tie to etiquette and good manners that would make Emily Post proud. 

Kay’s greatest joy was watching her granddaughter grow up and blossom into a beautiful young woman now attending USC. She is survived by her husband, daughter, son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, sister, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends she considered family. 

Those who knew and loved Kay will remember to mind their manners, celebrate life, and that coffee tastes better with a spot of Kahlua.

In keeping with Kay’s wishes, the family will hold a graveside ceremony at Forest Lawn, Glendale, in October.
