Katarino Ybarra Bueno

Katarino Ybarra Bueno, 84, born on March 22, 1935, in Brush, CO, United States, passed away February 7, 2020. He resided in Hesperia, CA at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.

Katarino "Kat" was born in Brush, Colorado to Jose and Teresa (Ybarra) Bueno. He graduated from Brush High School in 1954 and went on to Compton College in Compton, California on an art scholarship. He returned to Colorado after completing his AA and joined the Army. On June 22, 1957 he married Barbara Celestino.

Kat had a passion for motorcycles and cars. He became a well known custom auto upholsterer and had a small business in Buena Park for many years.

Kat is survived by his wife, four children, Hope Gomez, Kathy Plinski (Danny), Katarino Jr,.(Kari), April Bueno, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchidren, 4 sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.

He was preceded in death by daughter Shirley, grandson William Morales, his parents, 1 sister and 3 brothers.
