Karen Garen Vartanyan
August 30, 1959 — August 23, 2016
He was a renaissance man – his passion for life-long learning, adventure, music, laughter, and family began in Armenia and came with him when he brought his family to the United States on December 31, 1993. He worked tirelessly and overcame initial immigrant struggles to build a life for his family full of love, happiness, and success.
He is survived by his loving wife, children, sisters, mother, nieces & nephews, and countless family & friends from all around the world.
A vigil celebrating his life will be held on Friday, September 2nd from 7:00 – 9:00pm at Forest Lawn Glendale - Church of the Recessional at 1712 S Glendale Ave, Glendale, California 91205. A funeral service will be held the following day on Saturday, September 3rd at 1:00pm at the same location.
